Woody Allen Believed Relationship With Wife Was 'Just A Fling'

Director Woody Allen said he believed his relationship with Soon-Yi Previn was "just a fling".

Woody married Soon-Yi, 44, in 1997, however he didn't think their relationship would be serious.

In a new interview with NPR, he said: "I started the relationship with [Previn] and I thought it would just be a fling. It wouldn't be serious, but it had a life of its own. And I never thought it would be anything more. Then we started going together, then we started living together, and we were enjoying it."


Although Woody is 35 year's older than Soon-Yi he said: "And the age difference didn't seem to matter. It seemed to work in our favour actually."
