Pregnant Woman Attacked In Plymouth

Police have released images of two teenagers they are looking to trace in relation to an attack that was carried out on a pregnant woman last month.

On 31 July, a 24-year-old woman was alone on Evelyn Street in the St Budeaux area of Plymouth when she was approached by two teenagers – one male, one female.

The boy grabbed the victim's purse out of her hand, while the girl pushed the woman in the stomach, causing her to fall back against a wall. The victim was 17 weeks pregnant at the time of the attack. She suffered minor back and internal injuries as a result of the incident which occurred between 9.45pm and 10pm.

The boy is described as being 14 or 15, with mousy brown bobbed hair, 6ft tall and of skinny build. He was wearing dark jeans and bright white trainers.

The teenage girl is described as being 14 or 15, with long dark brown straight hair with streaks. She was about 5ft 4ins tall. She was wearing a white lacy t-shirt, denim shorts and white jelly sandals.
