Kelly Clarkson Announces Pregnancy

Kelly Clarkson has revealed she is pregnant with her second child.

The singer made the announcement on Wednesday, during her concert at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles. The 33-year-old told the crowd: "I was not planning on announcing this... I'm totally pregnant."

The news comes just weeks after many criticised the singer over her weight. Clarkson has previously said she was in no hurry to lose the baby weight she gained during her first pregnancy.


This will be the second child for Clarkson and her husband Brandon Blackstock. The couple started dating in February 2012, and announced their engagement in December 2012. They married the following October at Blackberry Farm in Tennessee. Their first child, a daughter named River Rose, was born in June 2014. Blackstock is also a father to two other children from a previous marriage.
