Louis, who is expecting a baby with Briana Jungwirth, is not believed to be planning a solo career and is expected to focus his attention on raising his first child.
A source told HollywoodLife.com: "Louis is comfortable enough financially to take a year or two off and feels that his solo career can wait because fatherhood is much more important.
"(He's) joking that he will live his life vicariously through Harry [Styles'] solo career while the band is on a break."
