The actress, who stars as Nurse 'Trixie' Franklin on Call The Midwife, is understood to have separated from Oliver Boot "some time ago".
A spokesperson for the 31-year-old confirmed the news to the MailOnline, saying: "I can confirm that Helen separated from her husband some time ago."
George and Boot first met on the set of BBC drama Hotel Babylon. The couple married in December 2012.
