Chuckle Brothers' Actor Set To Tie The Knot

Jimmy Patton, who starred in 90s comedy show, The Chuckle Brothers, is to marry.

According to reports which emerged over the weekend, the 84-year-old is set to tie the knot with Amy Phillips, 25. The couple are understood to have known each other for 18 months.


Speaking to The Sun newspaper, Patton is quoted as saying: "I never thought I would find this kind of love again."

While Ms Phillip's family is said to be happy with the couple's relationship, Mr Patton's daughter is also quoted by the newspaper as saying: "I've got a lot I could say, but I'm afraid it's something between me and my dad."

She did add that she would support her father with whatever decisions he made, however.

Patton's wife, Valerie, died five years ago.
