The 25-year-old made the comments during an interview with Closer magazine.
Solomon, who rose to face after appearing on The X Factor in 2009, was asked by the publication about her recent relationship break-up with former Jackass star Steve-O and whether it was hard to introduce her two young sons to new people.
She replied: "I, personally, want to be honest and open with my children as much as possible, and I've never been faced with that dilemma before, so it was a learning curve for me. Ultimately, they are so surrounded by love that luckily they are always positive and happy and move forward and through things with me. We are a team and in this together.
"I just want to be happy," she continued. "So being single is fun, and I'm completely fine with it. I have two perfect men in my life, and I don't feel like having a boyfriend is the be-all and end-all. But I am open for Prince Charming to fall in love with us all and live happily ever after!"
Stacey and Steve O, 41, met at the start of 2015 on Channel 4's reality show The Jump. The couple were subject to romantic rumours at the time, but denied they were involved. Shortly afterwards, they confirmed they were in a relationship. However, in July, they announced they had separated due to difficulties with their long-distance relationship.
