Leighton Meester 'Welcomes First Child'

Leighton Meester has reportedly welcomed her first child.

According to reports in the US, the actress and her husband, Adam Brody, became first-time parents in August. It is understood Meester gave birth to a baby girl, whom the couple have named Arlo.


Meester, 29, and Brody, 35, first met in 2011 after co-starring in The Oranges. They dated for a number of months before their relationship was reported in 2012, but they did not confirm they were an item until later. In November 2013, the couple became engaged and in February 2014, they tied the knot in a private ceremony.
