Chris Brown Awarded Joint Custody Of Daughter

Pop star Chris Brown has been awarded joint custody of his one-year-old daughter Royalty despite failing a drugs test.

He was granted shared custody of Royalty despite testing positive for marijuana and codeine.

The star's legal representatives said he had been prescribed both drugs, including marijuana which is offered as medicinal in California.


Chris took to Twitter to share the news. He wrote: "Court went great today. Glad all this worked out… Sending my thank you to my legal team.

"I'm so happy with OUR outcome today! #ILoveMyZillahAndRoyalty #ParentsFirstBulls**tLast #WeLoveRoyaltly. (sic)"

Chris has been given 12 days a month of unsupervised visits with Royalty and he will also have to pay overdue child support.
