The couple, who have dated on-and-off for seven years, split just a few weeks ago after Arg lied to his girlfriend about his whereabouts following a night out. In response, Bright said she needed some time alone to think about their relationship and where they would go from there, and on Wednesday night's episode of the show, it appeared she had made her decision.
The childhood sweethearts had decided to skip their co-star Pete Wicks' birthday Bonfire Night party in order to stay at home and spend some time together. It was here, when Bright told her partner: "Hopefully this means the end of any more hiccups. I'm really praying, because I can't keep going through this, and we become more serious with each other."
Arg replied: "I do think about what I do want out of life, and what I want for the future, and I have to be more responsible and take the pressure off you and mature, and – sooner rather than later – I do want to start moving our relationship forward."
His confession then prompted Bright to say: "Are you asking me to marry you?"
"I'm not! Not at all," he cut in. "I'm just saying we can't keep doing this, can we?"
Bright had the final say regarding their romance, however, adding: "I'm on exactly the same page as you. We are definitely not perfect but we love each other and I don't care what everybody else thinks. So when you want to move forward with things, I'm ready. Hint, hint."
