Shane Warne appears to have suggested he and his ex-fiancée Liz Hurley could be on the verge of reuniting.
The couple sparked speculation that they were going to give their romance another go earlier this month after they exchanged a number of messages via Twitter, before meeting in Los Angeles where Hurley attended a charity cricket match Warne was involved with.
They didn't comment on the claims at the time, but speaking to Australian television show, The Project, on Friday Warne was asked about his relationship to which he replied: "Watch this space."
The show's panel then seemed to imply that the former cricketer was to blame for the couple's initial split back in 2013. However, Warne hit back saying: "How do you jump to the conclusion that I did anything wrong? How could she stay away?"
He was then asked what was going on between him and Ms Hurley, to which he said: "Good question. It's none of your business. It was great to catch up with my ex-fiancée Elizabeth in LA. We hung out a bit and we saw each other the next day too. We remain very good friends."
In December 2010, Hurley and Warne were spotted kissing, sparking claims that they were having an affair. However, following the allegations, Warne announced via his Twitter account that he and his wife Simone had separated a couple of months previously, while Hurley had also recently separated from her husband Arun Nayar. In September 2011, Hurley and Warne confirmed their engagement. Two years later, in December, the couple had decided to end their relationship.
