Newlywed Couple To Spend New Year Apart

Newlywed couple Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan are to spend the New Year apart due to their busy schedules.

The couple who got married in May will not celebrate together because Mark is performing a DJ set at a leisure centre in Essex, according to new! magazine.

Mark will spend Christmas Day with Michelle's family in Manchester and then spend the New Year in Essex.

Michelle is also expected to travel to South Africa for five months to film her next project in January 2016.

Michelle said: "I'm excited about having Christmas with my mum and dad. My mum is doing a massive Christmas Eve party, which will be good.

"Don't get me wrong, we've had a great time in Essex, but I think I'm going to really enjoy waking up in my mum's house again and opening presents at my dad's - the basic things you did when you were younger. I'm really happy."
