Beatles Drummer Ringo Starr Feels 'Blessed' To Be Married

Beatles drummer Ringo Starr has admitted he feels "blessed" to be married.

Ringo wed Barbara Beach in 1981 and he said the pair are still as strong as ever.

Speaking to People Magazine he said: "There's no escape ... I think I love Barbara as much [today] as I did [when we met]. And I'm beyond blessed that she loves me and we're still together."


Ringo also revealed that he has loves using Twitter.

He continued: "I am trying to move into the modern world. I love Twitter! I love it because some of them love me and some of them don't! But that doesn't bother me at all.

"Some of them are just miserable people who have got nothing better to do. And I'm still spreading peace and love."
