Simon Gregson Discusses Son's Birth

Simon Gregson and his wife Emma have discussed their son's birth in a new interview.

The couple, who welcomed their third child together – Henry – last month, admitted to OK! magazine that it wasn't a straightforward labour for Emma.

She explained to the publication: "I went into slow labour at 36 weeks so we kept saying, 'It won't be long', then it kind of went on forever.

"Every day they'd [sons Alfie and Harry] come home from school and ask if Henry was here yet. I was having contractions every hour from week 36. That lasted for a month. I felt so tired, it was hard."

Their son was born on 11 December, but there was complications and Emma had to be rushed to surgery.

"I got to hold him for a few minutes," she continued. "Then the midwife realised there was a problem with my cord. She pressed the buzzer and about ten doctors rushed in."

Gregson and Emma have been in a long-term relationship and tied the knot in 2010. They have three sons together; Alfie, eight, Harry, six, and newborn Henry.
