Ferne McCann has revealed her former 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!' campmate had a crush on her.
The confession comes months after the pair appeared on the ITV reality television show and were subject to romance rumours throughout their time in the Australian jungle. However, when they left the show, they insisted they were just good friends and no romance would develop between them.
Earlier this month, 22-year-old Shelley admitted in a YouTube video that he was bisexual. Now, speaking to Heat magazine, McCann revealed: "He [George] did fancy me. He told me he fancied me, but... Oh, I don't know. It's a tricky one."
The 25-year-old added: "I honestly really fell for him, in a different kind of way, a pure love. We didn't know if it was going to develop into anything – we were just being great friends and then we left the jungle and everyone's saying 'fauxmance blah blah.'
"He's my friend, that's probably all it was ever going to be, but we did have this special bond."
