Webb and her partner Matthew Wolfenden welcomed their second child together in December last year, but this is their first interview since the birth of their son, Bowie Grey.
Discussing the moment she went into labour, 10 days late, Webb confessed: "We were actually in the car on the way to Mothercare when it happened! I'm so glad I wasn't in the shop!"
The following day, the Emmerdale actress was induced in hospital to avoid a risk of infection.
She joked: "My water birth went straight out the window."
The couple also answered questions about the unusual moniker for their son, admitting that it isn't a tribute to the late singer David Bowie.
Wolfenden explained: "Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of David Bowie but that wasn't why we chose the name. We just both loved it.
"We'd chosen the name before he was born and named him straight away, and then David Bowie died three weeks later."
Webb, 28, and 35-year-old Wolfenden have been in a relationship since 2008. In September 2009, they announced they were expecting their first child together. Their son, Buster, was born in April 2010. The couple announced their separation in August 2013 and vowed to remain friends for the sake of their son, but they reunited the following year, and in June 2015, confirmed they were expecting their second child.
