Twins Found To Have Different Fathers – Reports

It has been confirmed that a pair of fraternal twins in Vietnam have different fathers.

According to the BBC, a local genetic association confirmed the case to them.

It is understood the twins had their DNA tested after the family noticed the twins looked different.

Known as heteropaternal superfecundation, the occurrence is very rare and happens when a woman's eggs are fertilised by two men within a short time period.

The Vietnam Genetic Association, which is based in Hanoi, carried out the DNA testing.
