Morena Baccarin Welcomes Second Child

Morena Baccarin has given birth to her second child.

In a statement, representatives for the actress and her partner, actor Ben McKenzie, told USA Today: "Morena and Ben are so happy to welcome baby girl Frances Laiz Setta Schenkkan on March 2. All are happy and healthy and appreciate the well-wishes."


It is understood 'Setta' is the maiden name of Baccarin's mother, while 'Schenkkan' is McKenzie's surname.

Baccarin and McKenzie revealed they were expecting a child together in September 2015, but the announcement was surrounded by controversy as it came two months after Baccarin's estranged husband Austin Chick filed for divorce.

Baccarin and Chick have a two-year-old son, Julius, together and are currently in the midst of a bitter divorce battle.
