Megan McKenna Defends Romance

Megan McKenna has defended her romance with Pete Wick, saying it is not a 'showmance'.

Last week, it was claimed that the couple were dating and shortly afterwards McKenna made her debut in an episode of The Only Way Is Essex, where she appeared alongside her partner as part of the show's 200th episode.


Speaking to the Daily Star, McKenna said: "I'm happy. Pete is such a gorgeous gentleman. I really like Pete. People can think it is a showmance if they want, but this is 100% genuine."

She also revealed that the pair have been in contact for a while, including before she went into this year's Celebrity Big Brother house.

The romance comes three months after McKenna split with her ex-boyfriend Jordan Davies. Wick, meanwhile, was recently linked to television presenter Riah Read.
