Technical Glitch Hits Tinder App

A technical glitch has hit dating app Tinder, leading many users to discover that they had lost their 'matches' on the site. It is understood the app was down for around five hours on Monday night.

The outage appeared to mostly affect users in the UK, with numerous members claiming their matches had disappeared from their account, and messages could not get through.


In a statement, Tinder said: "We're experiencing some issues at the moment. Some users might not be able to log in. We apologize for the inconvenience.

"If it looks like your matches have disappeared, don't worry! They're still there. We're working on it," they added.

It has been reported that the glitch was temporary and messages have since been restored.
