The actress gave birth to daughter Flame in December 2013, but ever since has faced heavy criticism for choosing to have a child later in life.
Now, appearing on ITV's This Morning, the 53-year-old said it was the "best decision she has made" and that she would do it all over again.
The show was discussing about whether it is okay for a woman to embrace motherhood later in life, to which she said: "Why am I selfish?
"My daughter Flame is two and a half years old. I have no regrets. I gave up smoking, lost 11.5 stone to have IVF. My blood pressure and cholesterol are better than ever. I used to be drinking and doing drugs. It's about being healthy.
"When Mick Jagger, Simon Cowell and Peter Stringfellow became dads later in life, they got a pat on the back. You look at Ronnie Wood. He's rock and roll. He's still young at heart.
"I'm coming up to 54, I have more stamina, ability, confidence, I know myself and I feel better than ever. I'm also set to be a granny on June 15 when Danielle is expecting a baby girl.
"When I had Danielle, I was just a kid bringing up a kid. The only advantage to that is that you're fearless."
Malone and her husband Paul Chase have been married since August 2010. They welcomed their first child together, Flame, in December 2013 following IVF treatment. Malone is also a mother to Danielle, whom she had when she was 18.
