Johnny Depp Hopes Divorce Can Be 'Resolved Quickly'

Actor Johnny Depp has spoken out about his split with his wife Amber Heard.

Amber filed for a divorce on Monday, citing irreconcilable differences, after being married for 15 months.

In a statement to the Mirror, his representative said: "Given the brevity of this marriage and the most recent and tragic loss of his mother, Johnny will not respond to any of the salacious false stories, gossip, misinformation and lies about his personal life.


"Hopefully the dissolution of this short marriage will be resolved quickly."

Amber has put in a claim for spousal support hover the actor is believed to have rejected her claim.
