Demi Lovato Confirms Split

Demi Lovato has confirmed her relationship with Wilmer Valerrama has ended.

The couple, who were together for six years, issued a joint message to announce the split.

They wrote: "After almost 6 loving and wonderful years together, we have decided to end our relationship.


"This was an incredibly difficult decision for both of us, but we have realised more than anything that we are better as best friends. We will always be supportive of one another.

"Thank you to everyone who had offered us kindness and support over the years. With only love, Wilmer & Demi."

Lovato, 23, and 36-year-old Valerrama started dating in 2010. In the past, Lovato has praised her partner for supporting her through her past struggles with addiction, bulimia and self-harm.
