In a joint interview with Hello! magazine, the 29-year-old boxer admitted he left his wife in charge of the party for their daughter Lamaisah, which took three months to organise.
He told the publication: "When I walked in [to the party], the first thing I said was, 'Wow! My wife did an amazing job.'
"I was busy training when she was planning this, but every day I was getting crazy bills and thinking, 'What's this for?'
"Every penny spent on my daughter is worth it, though. After all, all this hard work I do is for her, for my kid."
Khan's wife added: "I wanted it to be something really grand. Now I'm not doing anything until she's 16."
Around 250 guests are understood to have been invited to the party. Disney princesses, Peppa Pig and a ballerina were also hired to entertain guests.
Khan and 24-year-old Faryal have been married since June 2013. They had a long-distance relationship prior to their marriage, announcing their engagement in January 2012. Their daughter, Lamaisah, was born in May 2014.
