The 28-year-old made the confession during a recent interview with OK magazine.
She told the publication: "I've got no time so I'm going to be single for the foreseeable future. If I was going to date anyone it would be Mario, he's a great guy," she said.
"My life is fantastic but I'm 28 and sometimes I want a man to take me out, cuddle up with me – I do get lonely."
The couple were previously said to have been in a relationship over the last few months, with Pattison herself appearing to confirm the news. Appearing on ITV's Loose Women last week, she said: "I think with me and Mario, we super tried to make something work and it didn't... He's lovely and he's a really nice lad.
"Unfortunately we didn't have enough time to see each other and it fizzled out. I still see him as a friend and a great lad and any girl who ends up with him is very lucky."
Mario, also 28, meanwhile told the Daily Mail: "We both tried to make it work. I'm busy away a lot and if you haven't got time for yourself, how are you going to make time for someone else?
"We're such good friends. We get along so well. We had to make it a mutual decision, unless we can give it our all we're going to end up ruining our friendship. We decided to just remain friends."
