Nadiya Hussain 'Planning Second Wedding'

Nadiya Hussain has said she is planning a second wedding to her husband Abdal.

Hussain, who was crowned the winner of BBC's Great British Bake Off last year, has been married to her husband for 11 years. She was 19 at the time she entered into the arranged marriage, having met Abdal just once beforehand.


Now, speaking to Woman magazine, the 31-year-old baker admitted that she is now planning to hold a second ceremony.

She told the publication: "We're married Islamically but we've never done the proper vows here. So we're talking about making it all 'official'. It's a great excuse for a party."

Hussain, who was born in Luton, and her husband have three children together.
