On Sunday, the rapper announced that she had ended her engagement to the basketball star because of trust issues. The following day, photos emerged online which showed furniture and other items on the driveway of the couple's home, while a car was spotted being towed away from the property. It was claimed that Azalea had the car removed, as well as threw out her ex's belongings.
However, she has now said the reports are not true. In a short tweet, she told her followers: "I never had anyone's car towed nor did I kick Nick out of 'my' house. The home belongs to Nick, I am the one moving. Thanks."
In a statement confirming the couple's split, Azalea said: "Unfortunately although I love Nick and have tried and tried to rebuild my trust in him – it's become apparent in the last few weeks I am unable to.
"I genuinely wish Nick the best. It's never easy to part ways with the person you planned you're entire future with, but futures can be rewritten and as of today mine is a blank page (sic)."
It is understood the couple's relationship was first in trouble in March of this year after Young was caught on video telling his Los Angeles Lakers teammate D'Angelo Russell about pursuing other women. The video was later leaked but Azalea and Young were said to be working through their issues. The rapper later admitted that her trust in her partner had been shaken.
Azalea, 26, and Young started dating in 2013. They announced their engagement in June 2015.
