Pippa Middleton Gets Engaged To James Matthews

Pippa Middleton has got engaged to her boyfriend James Matthews, according to Hello! Magazine.

A friend reportedly confirmed to the publication James asked her to marry him in the Lake District last weekend.

Her sister, the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, and her husband Prince William are believed to be delighted with the news.


Pippa has been dating James for just over a year.

According to the Daily Mail, James, 40, asked Michael her father for Pippa's hand in marriage before the proposal.

A friend said: "James is a traditionalist and very much wanted to do things properly.

"That meant getting the consent of his future father-in-law."
