Woman Arrested Over Stolen Wedding Rings

A woman has been arrested in connection with two stolen wedding rings.

The burglary occurred at a property on Briardale Road, Mossley Hill, sometime between 10pm on Saturday 30 July and 8am on Sunday 31 July. During the robbery, two wedding rings and a sum of cash was taken.

Merseyside Police launched an investigation. Earlier this week, one of the rings was located at a pawnbrokers. Officers later visited an address in Mossley Hill.

A woman, aged 19, was arrested on suspicion of burglary with intent to steal and the second stolen ring was recovered. She was later bailed pending further enquiries.

The rings have since been returned to their original owners.

Enquiries are continuing.
