Stephanie Davis Shares C-Section Concern

Stephanie Davis has revealed she is concerned that she could have to undergo a C-section when she gives birth to her baby boy.

The former Hollyoaks actress shared her fears in her most recent column for OK! magazine.

This will be the first child for Davis, who wrote: "My bump is really big for my size and my hips are small too, so they need to keep a close eye on him.

"Having a C-section is something I dread because I want to be straight up and active with my baby when he gets here and I know there's a long recovery period after the operation."

She added: "Picking the baby up and stuff will be a struggle so I'm hoping for a natural birth as much as possible. I'm really into the idea of a water birth actually because it looks so relaxing but I know you can't have an epidural.

"I think I'm going to be okay though; I'm going to get as far as I can before plan b which is taking whatever pain relief they can give me."

Davis announced earlier this year that she was expecting her first child. She has said the father of her unborn baby is her ex-boyfriend Jeremy McConnell – a claim he has repeatedly denied.
