Jason Kenny & Laura Trott Marry

Jason Kenny and Laura Trott have married.

The couple, who are both Olympic champions, tied the knot in a private ceremony in Cheshire on Saturday. They only later revealed they were husband and wife the following day when 28-year-old Kenny took to Twitter. He shared a photo of his partner on the social media site, but captioned the snap: "Good morning Mrs Kenny."


Laura's father later tweeted a photo from the couple's big day, writing alongside: "So pleased to announce that my darling daughter @LauraTrott31 married @JasonKenny107 yesterday."

Trott, 24, also shared a photo to Instagram. Posting an image of the couple, alongside some of their wedding party, she said: "The happiest day of my life. With all my family and close friends I married my best friend.

"We had the most amazing day and I'm so pleased to finally be able [to] call Jason my Husband."

It is understood the couple turned down an offer to have their wedding featured in a magazine.
