X Factor Singers Confirm Romance

Two of this year's X Factor contestants have confirmed they are dating.

Emily Middlemas and Ryan Lawrie have sparked speculation in recent weeks that they are in a relationship, but over the weekend, Lawrie referred to Middlemas as his "amazingly talented and beautiful girlfriend" in a Twitter post.


He later shared a photo of the pair together, captioning the snap: "Happy birthday to the most important person in my life. @emilymiddlemas_ you are the best thing that's ever happened to me. I love you."

Middlemas later took to the social networking site herself to reply: "I have the best boyfriend in the world. I am so lucky. Thank you for everything. I love my new beautiful necklace too. My boy. I love you."
