Adele Is 'Too Scared' To Have More Children

Singer Adele said she is "too scared" to have another child after suffering from "really bad" postpartum depression.

She has a four-year-old son Angelo with her long term partner Simon Konecki.

Speaking to Vanity Fair magazine, she said: "I'm too scared. I had really bad postpartum depression after I had my son, and it frightened me ... I didn't talk to anyone about it. I was very reluctant.


"One day I said to a friend, 'I f***ing hate this, and she just burst into tears and said, 'I f***ing hate this, too.'

However, now she says she feels a lot happier.

She continued: "I've never been happier. And I've never been healthier. So I'm good. I found it impossible [to write songs] for a while. I didn't know what I wanted to write about ... What's wrong is, I wasn't sad."
