Matt Terry Insists He Is Single

Matt Terry, the winner of this year's X Factor, has insisted that he is single, but promises to keep his fans updated if the situation changes.

Speaking to the Daily Star, the 23-year-old's comments come after he was alleged to have kissed fellow contestant Freddy Parker during the X Factor final on Sunday night. Matt has since said that the story was untrue.


He told the publication: "I think fans just got a little bit excited, and the got a little bit carried away with it all, but nothing happened. As far as I'm concerned, I am a heterosexual man.

"I will totally keep fans up to date with my personal life and who I'm dating. They will be the first to know. Fame is overwhelming but it is part of my job and I want to embrace it."
