Depp, 53, will pay his former wife $7million (£5.6m), which she is to donate to two charities.
Meanwhile, 30-year-old Heard will keep the couple's two dogs – Pistol and Boo – as well as a horse.
Heard had accused her ex of domestic abuse, a claim Depp denies.
Following the couple's separation, the actress filed for a restraining order against her estranged spouse, but this was dropped after the majority of the terms of the divorce were settled in August 2016. However, their divorce was only finalised this week as lawyers could not agree over whether Depp should make the payments directly to the charities or not.
Heard had previously said she would donate the money to the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) and the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles.
The couple separated in May 2016 after less than 18 months of marriage. They had no children together.
