Vernon House has recently refurbished its wedding ceremony room '1858' and will be opening the doors to the venue on the weekend of Saturday 18 and Sunday, 19 February.
Entry is free, from 12pm to 4pm and booking is not needed.
The Room 1858 is described as a modern, light and airy room which is licensed for up to 58 wedding guests. Set in a large mansion on the grounds of Vernon Park, Vernon House offers the perfect backdrop to a wedding ceremony.
Councillor Kate Butler, Stockport Council's Executive Member for Economy & Regeneration, said: "It's very exciting to see Vernon House opened to the public. This intimate venue is rich in cultural heritage and the perfect start to a long and happy life together."
