The 36-year-old made the confession during an interview with Closer magazine.
Her comments come after it was recently revealed that she had a one-night-stand with her TOWIE co-star James 'Arg' Argent in an attempt to conceive. However, after purposely not taking the morning after pill, Gemma had to admit her behaviour to her co-stars and confirm that she was not pregnant.
Now, she has decided to preserve eggs in the hope of becoming a mother.
She told the publication: "There's nothing wrong with being a TOWIE girl and I wouldn't change it for the world, but I definitely think that if I hadn't done the show, I would be married with a baby by now.
"All my friends are married with children. It's just me who isn't, and I want children soon."
She continued: "I've not the man of my dreams yet and I'm feeling the pressure, so I've had a consultation and I'm freezing my eggs. That will buy me some time while I'm finding a sperm donor."
