The pair met in 2016 on television show Love Island but it was recently claimed that they had separated.
A source was quoted by The Sun as saying: "Nathan and Cara have always had a fiery relationship with plenty of ups and downs. But their latest bust-up is their biggest yet and it'll be tough for them to come back from this."
Shortly after the story was released, Cara hit back via social media to say: "The 'close friend' who thought they had a story to sell about Nathan and I, thanks. Hope you enjoy your check & krama finds you... Don't believe everything you read (sic)."
Now, in a joint interview with Massey to OK! magazine, Cara explained: "People scrutinise us and sometimes you feel the pressure to be a perfect couple. But we are just two people who have been thrust into the spotlight and, like any couple, we do argue; we're not perfect."
She added: "I like being at home with the dog, cleaning and cooking and Nathan likes a night out. I can't imagine my life without Nathan.
"We've now got our eye on a nice property together. Getting on the property ladder is our main objective. Nothing too flash. We just want a nice little two up, two down. Just so I can clean it and keep it looking nice."
