Gareth Gates and his girlfriend Faye Brookes have admitted that they do not talk about their past relationships.
Brookes, 29, made the revelation during an interview with Closer magazine – in which she referred to one of Gates' former partners, Katie Price. In her autobiography, Price claimed that the singer – then 17-years-old – had lost his virginity to her. Gates repeatedly denied the allegations, only to later confirm Price's story.
Now, his partner Faye has said that they do not talk about Price. She told the publication: "Gareth and I don't talk about Jordan. We've all got a past, everybody needs to move on.
"We don't let things like that come between us. There's no need. I wasn't around then. He was young. That's all I know."
Gates and Brookes have been in a relationship for four-and-a-half years. Gates was previously married to Suzanne Moles and the couple share one daughter together, seven-year-old Missy.
