On Wednesday night's episode of The Only Way Is Essex, Collins was seen going to a fertility clinic with her friends – and TOWIE co-stars – Bobby Norris and Chloe Sims.
Speaking to a consultant at the clinic, the 36-year-old confessed: "I'm living in this sheer panic morning, noon and night. Firstly, because I'm worried I'm already going through the menopause. Secondly, why haven't I found the love of my life? And thirdly, I'm asking, 'Why me?'
"So I think if I can freeze my eggs I've got a better chance later on."
She later told her friends that she asked if she could have a freezer built at her house so that she could store her eggs there.
"They said no, which is fair enough," she relayed, "but I'm concerned about mixing them up."
She also said that she would be living a healthier lifestyle over the next fews weeks as she awaits the procedure to take place.
"Less brandy, less living it up, less time at my favourite Italian," she said. "I have everything I could ever want but the two things I really want I can't get.
"I would happily trade in my Range Rover and my Cartier watch for a boyfriend and a baby, and no one would say that in Essex."
