Marriage Split For Nelly Furtado

Nelly Furtado has revealed that she and her husband, Demacio Castellon, have separated.

The singer was appearing on ITV's Loose Women when she confirmed the couple were no longer together.

Furtado, 38, said she wanted to let her fans know about the split because many people believe she is still married – and as a result, it is stopping her from meeting someone new.


She told the hosts: "I'm single now. Someone needs to update my Wikipedia, it's not helping my dating life."

Furtado and Castellon were married for nine years. The singer is a mum to a 13-year-old daughter from a previous relationship.
