'Scandal' Actress Welcomes Baby Boy

Katie Lowes has revealed that she has become a mother.

The actress, who plays Quinn Perkins on TV show Scandal, announced the news via Twitter on Thursday night.

Lowes, 36, took to social media to share an image of her baby boy's little feet alongside a bowl of popcorn, a mug, a green pacifier and a drill. She captioned the snap: "Baby's first #Scandal live tweet! Adam and I are thrilled to welcome Albee Shapiro into our family! We're happy & healthy!"


Lowes announced that she was expecting a baby in May. It is the first child for Katie and her husband Adam Shapiro, whom she married in June 2012.
