Katy Perry Announces She's Single

Katy Perry has confirmed that she is single.

The singer discussed her relationship status with Entertainment Tonight as she spoke about her busy tour schedule and how she is going to find the time to also film the upcoming series of American Idol.


When asked about how she copes with the work, the 32-year-old admitted: "I'm a bit younger in heart. I'm a bit more mature... single! You know, when you're single, you got a lot of time to yourself and a lot of energy. I'm just finding a delicate balance."

Perry was last in a relationship with actor Orlando Bloom, while from 2010 to 2012 she was married to British comedian Russell Brand.
