The singer appeared on Brisbane's hit105 radio station when he announced that he would perform at the wedding of Sophie McEvoy.
Ms McEvoy, 27, first started tweeting Craig in July 2016 after she saw him perform while on holiday in Marbella. She subsequently took to the social media platform to invite him to play at her upcoming wedding to Richard McCausland later this month. While he did 'favourite' the tweet, he did not respond.
Now, in recent footage shared on hit105's Facebook page, Craig can be seen speaking to presenters Stav Davidson, Abby Coleman, Matt Acton and Osher Gunsberg when they tell him there is a fan on the phone wanting to speak to him.
Coleman said: "They're a massive Craig David fan and I believe they've probably been, I'll say, kindly harassing you on Twitter."
Acton then read out one of Sophie's tweets, which said: "Do you think if I tweet Craig David every day for the next 480 days he would perform at my wedding?"
In response, the singer replied: "That would be Sophie, no? Oh wicked, put me through."
He then talks to Sophie and tells her he has seen her numerous tweets – and that he will be appearing at her wedding, even though he was trying to keep it a secret.
He can be heard saying: "I've been trying to keep it a lovely secret but I will come through and do a little something for you on your wedding day.
"I was trying to keep it to the last day, but now we're on air I can't lead you on for any longer, it'll be a pleasure."
