Scarlett Moffatt has confirmed that she is single.
The admission comes one day after an interview published with the television personality said that she was still in a relationship with Luke Crodden.
However, taking to Facebook on Wednesday, the 27-year-old said she had to speak out regarding the couple's romantic status.
She explained: "I'm gonna have to write it because I feel a bit awkward as I've done some interviews about him being in my book that aren't out for a while due to timings of the magazines but but me and Luke have finished due to a number of different things.
"It was Luke's choice in the end but it's because we both just see each other in more of a friendly way than a romantic way. We both respect and love each other enough to know we need to call it a day and not be one of those couples that's off and on."
Addressing why she had not spoke about her ex in recent interviews on television, she continued: "So it's not that I'm being a crap girlfriend and not mentioning him, it's just we are no longer together.
"I wish him all the luck and happiness in the world, just sometimes these things happen (happy birthday Scarlett by the way ha)."
She later added: "I just wanted people to know it was a chat we had and Luke just sees me as a friend and to be honest the more I think about it, it's a joint feeling.
"I just cba with people thinking it's me that's the bad guy or that I've finished with him because I'm too busy because that isn't the case (sic)."
The couple dated for a year before they separated in February 2017. They confirmed they were back together again four months later.
