John Stamos Announces Engagement

John Stamos has announced his engagement to Caitlin McHugh.

The actor confirmed the news on Sunday. Taking to Instagram, the 54-year-old said: "I asked... she said yes! And we lived happily ever after."

Stamos and McHugh, 31, have been in a relationship since 2016 but have tried to keep their romance out of the spotlight.


The actress previously told People magazine: "We like to keep our lives private because we've seen what relationships in the public eye can be like and we just like our privacy.

"We don't want the commentary from the masses about what our relationship is or should be. We're very happy together and we hope to be so for a long time."
