Kevin Spacey Issues Apology Over Sexual Assault Allegation

Actor Kevin Spacey has issued an apology to Star Trek actor Anthony Rapp following a sexual assault allegation.

Buzzfeed published an interview with Anthony in which he claimed that Kevin made unwanted advances towards him in 1986 when he was aged 14.


When the interview was published Kevin issued an apology on Twitter and came out as gay.

He said he did not remember the encounter with Anthony, now 46, and wrote: "If I did behave then as he describes, I owe him the sincerest apology for what would have been deeply inappropriate drunken behaviour."

He continued: "I choose now to live as a gay man."
