In the latest episode of The Only Way Is Essex, 36-year-old Collins suggested that she and Arg should give their romance another try – only for him to say no, for a second time, explaining that he only saw her as a friend.
Despite being left "heartbroken" at Arg's decision, Collins is said to be determined to find happiness when it comes to romance and is now said to have agreed to appear in E4's reality dating show.
A source is quoted by The Sun newspaper as saying: "Gemma can't wait to start filming. She's completely putting herself in the dating experts' hands as she's determined to find true love on the show.
"She's not going to mess around. She knows they're [Eden Blackman and Nadia Essex] the top people who can find her a man and she's going to take all their advice."
