Last month, it was revealed that the pair had separated after 22 years of marriage, after McGregor was spotted kissing his co-star Mary Elizabeth Winstead on a night out. It later emerged that the actor had separated from his wife in May of this year – the same month Winstead and her husband also announced their split.
Until now, Eve has kept silent on the split claims, but this week a photograph emerged on a Eve's Instagram account. It was posted to honour one of her friend's birthdays in October, but a comment was then left on the image which read: "I can't believe Ewan would end things with u for that cheap w**re! U are so much better than him!!!! Take him for every penny u can!!!!"
Eve replied: "What can I do?"
Married for 22 years, Eve and Ewan have four children together.
