It is understood the actor was responding to an article in New Idea which alleged that he was "together at last" with the 33-year-old singer.
He wrote: "Hey @DeltaGoodrem, anything we should talk about?"
He then went on to "apologise" to other women he has incorrectly been linked with – including Terri Irwin.
"Want [to] apologise to @TerriIrwin, Sophia Forrest, the unnamed Mexican companion and all my other Aust Magazine lovers. Seems I've moved on (sic)," the 53-year-old told his followers.
Seeing his message, Goodrem replied: "Oh you only just heard the news?! haha!! .. wait, wasn't I married to my friend @seal or has that ended??
"No, wait I'm having a baby on my own! Gosh i can't keep up!! Either way love you Rusty! @russellcrowe! xx (sic)."
Goodrem has been linked to a number of famous men in recent months, but she has always said that the reports are untrue.
